HQN provides housing training and consultancy support to local authorities and housing providers. We have a particular focus on helping organisations to understand the needs and aspirations of their customers and communities, to access their performance in meeting these, and to identify and implement the changes needed to ensure that services are customer-focused, responsive to change, effective and efficient.

Our strategic housing service specialises in:

• Working with local authorities and housing providers to develop their capacity to direct, enable and deliver new homes and housing services
• Strategy development, business planning and financial modelling
• Enabling the development of regional, sub-regional, and local housing strategies, plans and policies
• Understanding cost and value from strategic housing activity and investment, having developed the first value for money framework in the country.

Our clients include national and regional agencies, local authorities and housing providers. We also work with our clients' communities and customers along with associated third sector providers.
